CxM Consulting was set up by Chris Mills in 2001 and has provided business consulting services to clients of all sizes ever since.
Chris is a former 'Big 6' Partner and has also held senior consulting roles at strategy consultants AT Kearney and been UK Managing Director of world-leading customer experience consultancy Strativity and of Dublin-based Vision Consulting, who specialise in improving customer service at strategically-important levels. Chris was also Group MD of Global Visas, which he turned from a loss-making business into an international concern with 12 overseas offices and turnover in excess of £25 million, preparing them for a successful trade sale - primarily based on online sales. At UMT Consulting Chris was instrumental in the development of a software tool which aligned project spend to strategic goals and which was eventually sold to Microsoft.
Chris spent some time in central government as Director of eBusiness at HM Customs where, amongst other things, he was responsible for the introduction of online VAT returns.
More recently Chris has worked with smaller organisations where he feels he can make a significant difference. Using his famous and proven business alignment model he has developed business plans for companies as diverse as educational institutions in Africa and breweries in Scotland. Working with an engineering company in Milton Keynes, he has helped them win a €1million grant and transformed their sales function and manufacturing productivity to the point where they have been nominated for a Queen's Award for Enterprise.
